Bijan Robinson kept the Falcons rolling in Green Bay, and he did it with a night that pushed him into NFL history.
Robinson powered Atlanta to a 35-14 win over the Packers on Thursday at Lambeau Field, piling up 194 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 29 carries. In the process, he became the 10th player in NFL history to reach 6,000 career scrimmage yards before turning 25 years old.
The Falcons had control for most of the night and finished with 498 total yards of offense while holding the ball for more than 37 minutes. Robinson was the centerpiece, but Atlanta had plenty more going. Brian Robinson Jr. added 50 rushing yards and a touchdown, and Drake London caught nine passes for 194 yards.
Michael Penix Jr. also gave Atlanta a lift in his season debut after returning from a knee injury. He completed 18 of 25 passes for 256 yards and threw a touchdown to Austin Hooper.
Green Bay never found much rhythm on the ground. The Packers were limited to just 17 rushing yards and fell to 1-2 on the season.
Jordan Love went 28 of 53 for 312 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Matthew Golden had 100 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Christian Watson caught seven passes for 96 yards and a score.
Atlanta also got work on special teams and defense. Nick Folk made both of his field-goal attempts, including a 44-yarder, and Zach Harrison blocked a field goal while adding a tackle.
The Falcons head to New Orleans on Oct. 5 to face the Saints. Green Bay travels to Florida to play the Tampa Bay Bucs on Oct. 4.
