Bijan Robinson keeps stacking up the kind of performances that make even the game’s biggest names stop and salute.
Bruce Arians recently put Robinson in Barry Sanders territory, and now Derrick Henry has added his own stamp of approval. The veteran back didn’t hesitate when asked about Robinson, calling him “the best in the game right now.”

That kind of praise carries real weight coming from Henry, who has long since established himself as one of the greats. He has led the league in rushing twice, topped 2,000 rushing yards in a season, and at 32 still looks as dangerous as ever.
He’s averaging nearly 100 rushing yards per game and leads the league with seven touchdowns while continuing his climb up the all-time rushing list. If he stays healthy for two more seasons and keeps producing at this pace, he could move as high as third all-time, behind only Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton.
Still, the spotlight right now belongs to Robinson. Through four games, he’s already close to 500 rushing yards and on track for more than 2,000 on the ground. He has also added 120 receiving yards, and that number could grow as the Falcons run into tougher defenses against the run in the weeks ahead.
What makes Robinson such a problem for defenses is the full package. He can pound out hard yards, create missed tackles, break explosive plays, split out wide, and handle pass protection at a high level. For a running back taken in the top 10, he’s looking every bit like the rare pick that more than justified the investment.

Braves Just Lost A Veteran Arm From Their Bullpen Depth Plan
The Braves bullpen depth chart took a small but notable hit with the end of the season, as Ian Hamilton and Rob Zastryzny both elected minor league free agency. For Atlanta, it is another reminder of how much turnover can come at the margins of a pitching staff, where veteran arms often shuttle between the majors and Triple-A while the organization tries to keep options available.
Hamiltons time in the system never really settled into a big league role, while Zastryzny arrives on the market after a year interrupted by a trapezius strain and an outright assignment by Milwaukee in September. Neither move changes the top of Atlantas relief picture, but it does thin the inventory of experienced depth the club had been leaning on as it sorted through its bullpen options. [Read more 🡒]
Rangers Face A Corey Seager Decision Atlanta Could Reignite
The Braves spent part of the 2026 season trying to pry Jacob deGrom loose from Texas, only to be stopped when the right-hander used his no-trade clause. Even after that chase fell apart, Atlantas interest in the Rangers has not gone away, and the club still has eyes on a familiar name from Arlington as it looks for ways to keep reshaping the roster.
According to MLB Networks Joel Sherman, Corey Seager is a player the Braves could circle back to again in the upcoming offseason after showing interest before. Seagers recent injury history and a down 2026 season make any pursuit complicated, but his track record still gives him appeal for a team that has not hidden its willingness to keep exploring big-name additions. Braves Face A Free Agent Trap They Really Can't Afford
The Braves are heading into an offseason where the temptation to chase offense will be strong, and for good reason. Atlanta needs help in the lineup, but not every recognizable name on the market makes sense for a club trying to get more balanced without boxing itself into a costly mistake.
A closer look at the possible fits suggests the margin for error is slim, especially when age, durability, and price start entering the conversation. Some players may offer instant name value, but the Braves have to weigh whether those upgrades actually move the roster forward or just create another expensive problem to manage a year from now.
