Atlanta Gets Surprise NLDS Schedule Update

Dodgers fans gear up for potentially thrilling primetime NLDS matchups as start times hinge on wild card results.

Major League Baseball has set the opening stretch of the Division Series schedule, and the Dodgers already know they’ll be playing under the lights for Game 2 at Dodger Stadium on Sunday.

Game 1 on Saturday is still tied to the outcome of the Cubs-Padres wild card series in San Diego. The Dodgers will not face the Cubs-Padres winner in the NLDS; their opponent will be either the Atlanta Braves or the Philadelphia Phillies. Atlanta is up 1-0 in that best-of-3 series.

If the Cubs advance, the Dodgers’ Game 1 on Saturday will start at 6 p.m. PT and air on FS1.

If the Padres move on, Game 1 will begin at 1 p.m. PT Saturday, also on FS1.

Game 2 is locked in for 5 p.m. Sunday at Dodger Stadium on FS1.

The rest of the Division Series schedule will be announced later this week, once the wild card round is finished.

Fox Sports will carry the entire National League postseason and the World Series, so every Dodgers game this October will be on Fox or FS1. Fox has not yet announced its announcer teams for the NLDS.

Here’s how the Dodgers’ Division Series currently lines up:

Game 1 - Saturday, Oct. 3 - Dodger Stadium - 1 p.m. or 6 p.m.

PT - Fox or FS1
Game 2 - Sunday, Oct.

4 - Dodger Stadium - 5 p.m. PT - FS1

Game 3 - Tuesday, Oct. 6 - Atlanta/Philadelphia - TBA - Fox or FS1

Game 4* - Wednesday, Oct. 7 - Atlanta/Philadelphia - TBA - Fox or FS1

Game 5* - Friday, Oct. 9 - Dodger Stadium - TBA - Fox or FS1

Saturday opens all four Division Series, while the two American League series will have Sunday off before picking back up Monday with Game 2. That leaves Sunday as a two-game day for both National League series.

The Saturday schedule also includes ALDS Game 1 between the Astros and White Sox at the Guardians at 10 a.m. PT on TBS, Yankees/Red Sox at the Rays at 3:30 p.m. on TBS, and the other NLDS opener slots around the Dodgers game depending on the wild card results.

Jurickson Profar Just Revived A Braves Question Fans Wont Enjoy

Jurickson Profar has lined up his next baseball stop, with Tiburones de La Guaira signing him for the 2026-27 Venezuelan league season. For Braves fans, the announcement is a reminder of a player whose time in Atlanta never got far from the larger conversation around availability and trust, especially after his PED suspension while with the club.

Profars future beyond that winter assignment remains unresolved, and so does the bigger question hanging over his baseball path. It is still unclear whether he will try to return to Major League Baseball in 2027, and if he does, whether Atlanta would be part of that conversation again. [Read more 🡒]

Braves Face One Big Question With Chance To End Phillies Series

Game 2 of the NL Wild Card Series shifts back to Truist Park on Wednesday afternoon, with the Braves facing the kind of spot every October contender hopes to reach. Atlanta has a chance to end the Phillies series at 2 p.m. ET, and the matchup brings a familiar postseason mix of roster tweaks, bullpen management and urgency from the first pitch. Ranger Surez gets the ball for Philadelphia, while the Braves will counter with right-hander Sonny Mahle as both clubs lean on the lineups and relief arms they trust most.

For Atlanta, the bigger question is how the front office and coaching staff balance the immediate need to finish the job with the longer playoff grind still ahead. The expected starting lineups give a decent picture of how each side plans to attack the game, and the bullpen choices should matter just as much once the starters hand things over. Fans can catch the action on the scheduled broadcast, but the real focus is whether the Braves can handle business at home and move on without forcing the series to another day. [Read more 🡒]

Braves Make A Risky Game 2 Lineup Call With Season On Line

The Braves shuffled their Game 2 lineup against the Phillies with Cristopher Snchez on the mound, making a clear bet on past matchups as they try to keep their season alive. Austin Riley and Ozzie Albies were moved up because of their success against Snchez, while Michael Harris II was dropped lower in the order even after a strong recent stretch, a reminder of how much postseason lineup decisions can still come down to matchup history.

Harris has brushed off the move, saying he feels good about where his game is right now and pointing to the adjustments he has made since the 2025 All-Star break as part of his steadier production. For Atlanta, the bigger question is whether leaning on those old numbers against Snchez will pay off when the margin for error is gone. [Read more 🡒]
