Razorbacks Set Key Dates for Spring Ball and 2026 Season Under Ryan Silverfield
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Ryan Silverfield era in Fayetteville is officially on the clock. Arkansas has locked in its spring schedule and laid out the roadmap for a 2026 season that’s already shaping up to be packed with storylines, milestones, and a few marquee matchups that should have Razorback fans circling their calendars.
Spring practice kicks off Sunday, March 15, giving Silverfield his first on-field look at the roster he’ll guide into a new chapter of Razorback football. It all culminates on Saturday, April 25 with the annual spring game, which will be hosted by TheLinkU. That scrimmage won’t just be a chance for fans to get their football fix-it’ll be the first real glimpse of Silverfield’s system in action and how returning players and early enrollees are adapting to the new regime.
A Historic Road Trip and a Familiar SEC Gauntlet
The 2026 season opens at home on September 5 against North Alabama, a game that sets the tone before Arkansas hits the road for a bit of history. On September 12, the Razorbacks will travel to Utah for the first time in program history to take on the Utes. That’s a rare non-conference test with altitude, physicality, and plenty of intrigue.
Then comes the SEC opener, and it’s a big one. Georgia rolls into Razorback Stadium on September 19, and the Hogs are planning a stadium stripe out to welcome the Bulldogs. It’s a chance to make a statement early in the conference slate-and Razorback fans know how electric Fayetteville can get when the stakes are high.
The following week brings Tulsa to town on September 26 for Family Weekend. That Saturday will also feature the induction of the newest members into the Razorbacks’ Hall of Honor, adding a celebratory tone to what should be a packed weekend on campus.
Tennessee Returns, Homecoming Highlights, and Rivalry Renewals
October 10 will mark Razorback Foundation Appreciation Day, and the opponent couldn’t be more fitting: Tennessee. The Volunteers were ranked No. 4 the last time they came to Fayetteville in 2024-and left with a loss. That upset is still fresh in the minds of fans, and you can bet the Razorbacks will look to recapture that magic when the Vols return.
Homecoming is set for October 31, and with it comes a new twist in an old rivalry. The Battle Line Rivalry against Missouri gets a date shift this season, moving off its usual end-of-year spot.
Since 2014 (with the lone exception of 2020), Arkansas and Mizzou have squared off in the regular season finale. That changes in 2026, but the intensity of the matchup won’t.
South Carolina makes its first trip back to Fayetteville since 2021 on November 14. That game will be about more than football-it’s also Military Appreciation Day and a celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States. Expect a patriotic atmosphere and a program-wide salute to service.
Golden Boot Back Where It Belongs
There’s no better way to end the regular season than with a rivalry game, and Arkansas is bringing back a classic to close things out. The Battle for the Golden Boot against LSU returns to its traditional spot as the final game on the schedule, set for November 29. It’ll be Senior Day at Razorback Stadium, and emotions will be running high as the Hogs honor the players who’ve given their all to the program.
Ticket Info
Season ticket renewals are already underway, with the deadline to lock in seats set for March 31. Fans looking to renew can do so online or by contacting the Razorback Ticket Center at 479-575-5151.
There’s a new energy in Fayetteville, and with a fresh face at the helm, a schedule full of meaningful matchups, and plenty of tradition on tap, 2026 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for Arkansas football.
