Razorback Fans Have A Halloween Pregame Tradition Worth Arriving Early For

Celebrate Halloween Razorback-style with live music, family fun, and festive treats at HogTown's spirited pre-game party.

Razorback fans looking to start Halloween early will find the action on Maple Street, where HogTown opens Saturday, October 31, ahead of Arkansas’ matchup with Missouri.

The free pregame setup sits just north of Razorback Stadium, between Razorback Road and Stadium Drive, and opens four hours before kickoff. It stays active until 15 minutes before the game, giving fans time to take in the entertainment, activities and game-day atmosphere before heading inside for the “Best in Sight and Sound” Marching Band pregame performance.

The main attraction on the Bud Light Sound Stage is No Vacancy, the cover band set to launch at 3:15 p.m. The group will run through hits from the 1960s to today, aiming to set the tone for kickoff with a high-energy show.

HogTown is also leaning fully into Halloween with the Official Hogoween Headquarters Marketing Table. Fans can stop by for a game-day trick-or-treat bag and a little extra festive flair. Kids get a bonus, too: the first 300 dressed in costume will receive a voucher for a free hot dog and drink, courtesy of Coca-Cola, redeemable inside Razorback Stadium during the game.

Costumes are welcome for everyone, and the day is built to keep fans busy well beyond the concert. The schedule also includes a Razorback Spirit Squads, mascots and Marching Band pep rally, a chance to see Tusk VII, a big-screen videoboard showing live college football, and a Family Fun Zone with inflatables, a balloon artist, caricatures and face painting. Free swag and giveaways will also come from Coca-Cola, CommunityAmerica Credit Union, Ford, Hogs+, Rudy’s BBQ and Tito’s.

Food is a big part of the draw, with a long lineup of vendors serving everything from carnival staples to soul food and barbecue. Among the options are Atomic Dog, Carsten Concessions, Chelle’s Burger Joint, Downtown Dawgs, Fannie Mae’s Kitchen, Meg’s Food Truck, Nacho Taters, Phillips Lips & Tips Mobile Food Trailer, Poppop & Yumyam Grill & Smoke, Rudy’s BBQ, The Breezy Scoop, Who Cut the Cheese and Williams Soul Food.

The day’s events are mapped out from start to finish. HogTown opens at 2:45 p.m., No Vacancy begins at 3:15 p.m., the Razorback Marching Band Drumline follows at 3:45 p.m. outside Gate 14, and the pep rally in Lot 300 starts at 4:00 p.m. with a Halloween candy toss for fans in attendance.

The Hog Walk featuring Coach Ryan Silverfield and Razorback Football is set for 4:15 p.m. HogTown closes at 6:30 p.m., and “Beat Missouri” presented by Shelter Insurance is scheduled for 6:45 p.m.

Fans should also note the traffic plan around the event. Maple Street from Stadium Drive to Razorback Road will close to all traffic beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026.

On Saturday, access to Lot 300 outside the Frank Broyles Athletic Center will remain available through the east entrance on Stadium Drive and the west entrance on Razorback Road. Maple Street will reopen to all traffic on gameday at the conclusion of the second quarter.

Arkansas Is Suddenly In Position For A Massive Calipari Recruiting Win

A big recruiting battle is coming down to the wire for a prospect who could change the shape of a class. Demarcus Henry, a five-star guard in the 2027 cycle, has trimmed his list to Arkansas, Louisville, North Carolina and Kentucky, and he is expected to make his decision later this week. For the Razorbacks, just being in this final group says plenty about the programs current pull under John Calipari, especially with heavyweights from the ACC and SEC still in the mix.

The late stages of a chase like this usually come down to fit, trust and which staff makes the clearest long-term case. Arkansas has plenty to sell as it tries to land one of the top names in the class, but Henrys choice remains unsettled for now, with several bluebloods still waiting alongside the Razorbacks. However this one ends, the decision will reverberate well beyond a single commitment and could become one of the bigger recruiting swings of the cycle. [Read more 🡒]

Arkansas Just Got A Crucial Auburn Detail In A Tough SEC Stretch

Arkansas now knows the final piece of its Week 10 road trip to Auburn, with kickoff set for Nov. 7 at 11:45 a.m. CST and the game slated for SEC Network. It lands in the middle of a demanding SEC run that has already asked plenty of the Razorbacks, and it gives the team a clear target as it keeps navigating a stretch packed with familiar league names and plenty of pressure.

The schedule around Auburn only underscores how important this part of the season is for Arkansas, with Missouri, South Carolina, Texas and LSU all part of the recent and upcoming backdrop. Those matchups carry their own history and recent results, which is exactly why the Razorbacks will be watching every detail they can get as they try to steady things in conference play. Arkansas Is Chasing A Recruiting Opening Rivals May Regret

Arkansas has been working the recruiting trail with a real sense of urgency, and the official-visit calendar has made that clear. The Razorbacks have hosted a steady stream of prospects while continuing to pursue players already committed elsewhere, including recruits tied to Baylor, Maryland and UTSA, as coaching changes around the country have created openings that did not exist a few weeks ago.

For Arkansas, the appeal is obvious: when other programs change direction, the Hogs get a chance to stay in the conversation longer than they otherwise might. Several of the prospects on the board have already made multiple visits or kept close contact with the staff, which is exactly the sort of groundwork that can pay off if any of those commitments start to wobble. Nothing is settled yet, but Arkansas has put itself in position to benefit if the dominoes begin to fall. [Read more 🡒]
