Former Arkansas players made their mark across the NFL in Week 3, with Treylon Burks and Mike Washington Jr. each finding the end zone in wins for their teams.
Burks helped the Washington Commanders pick up their first victory of the season, a 33-31 win over the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. The Warren, Ark., product caught two passes for 13 yards and a touchdown, scoring on an 11-yard throw from Marcus Marriott with 6:47 left in the second quarter. It was Burks’ first touchdown of the season and the third of his career.
Washington Jr. kept his strong rookie start rolling for the Las Vegas Raiders, who beat the New Orleans Saints 35-27. The Utica, N.Y., product carried the ball five times for 54 yards and his first career touchdown, breaking free for a 36-yard score with 3:20 remaining in the third quarter. Through three weeks, Washington has totaled 15 carries for 102 yards and a touchdown.
A number of other former Razorbacks were in action as well. Landon Jackson turned in four tackles and a pass breakup for the Buffalo Bills in a 24-16 win over the Chargers, while Isaac TeSlaa posted three catches for 66 yards in Detroit’s 31-24 victory against the Jets.
Dre Greenlaw was active for San Francisco’s 36-30 win over Arizona, finishing with eight tackles. Cam Little connected on all five extra-point tries for Jacksonville in a 35-6 win over New England, though he missed his only field-goal attempt.
Jake Bates continued his reliable work for Detroit, going 1-for-1 on field goals with a long of 30 yards and 4-for-4 on extra points in the Lions’ 31-24 win over the Jets. Through three games, he has made all three of his field-goal attempts and all 12 extra points.
Montaric Brown had one tackle and one pass breakup for Jacksonville in that same win over New England, and Julian Neal added a tackle for Seattle in the loss to Washington. Hunter Henry caught one pass for five yards in New England’s defeat, while Feleipe Franks recorded one tackle in Carolina’s 21-18 loss to Cleveland.
Several other ProHogs saw limited action or were inactive. Fernando Carmona played one snap for Tennessee in a 24-15 loss to Chicago.
Hjalte Frohodlt logged 86 snaps for Detroit in its loss to San Francisco. Beaux Limmer appeared for one snap in the Rams’ 30-26 loss to Denver.
John Ridgeway III did not play for New Orleans, and Taylen Green was listed as a DNP for Cleveland in its win over Carolina.
Looking ahead, all active #ProHogs are set to return next week, with Detroit’s Jake Bates and Isaac TeSlaa meeting Carolina and Feleipe Franks on Sunday Night Football.

Arkansas Knows What Must Happen To Rattle Texas A&M's Offense
Barry Odom spent part of the week laying out the challenge in plain terms for Arkansas: if Texas A&M is going to be slowed down, it starts with the run game. The Razorbacks defensive coordinator pointed to the Aggies backfield as the engine that can make everything else go, with Reuben Owens and the rest of the runners setting up the offense around Marcel Reed.
Reeds recent turnover issues have only sharpened the focus on that part of the matchup, but Arkansas knows the job is bigger than just chasing mistakes from the quarterback. Mario Craver and Isaiah Horton remain the main threats on the outside, which means the Razorbacks will need to keep the Aggies from finding balance early and often if they want to put Reed in tougher passing situations. LSU Still Has Work To Do In Elite Guard Recruitment
King Gibsons recruitment is closing in on the point where every visit and every conversation starts to matter a little more. The four-star combo guard, ranked No. 16 in the class of 2027, has trimmed his list to Louisville, Providence, Arkansas and LSU, and he has already been through each campus visit as he weighs the next step in a process that does not yet have a firm decision date.
For Arkansas, Gibson represents the kind of elite perimeter target that can change the feel of a class if the Razorbacks can land him. The scouting report on him points to a player whose high school and grassroots seasons have shown different sides of his game, with physical maturity and shooting ability standing out while other parts of his guard play still have room to grow. That mix makes him a particularly interesting prize for the programs still in the hunt, even as the finish line remains a little bit out of view. [Read more 🡒]
Arkansas Gets A Huge Chance Against A Texas A&M Team Reeling
Texas A&M heads into its Southeastern Conference matchup with Arkansas trying to steady itself after back-to-back conference losses knocked the Aggies out of the AP Top 25. Coach Mike Elko has already pointed beyond quarterback Marcel Reed when assessing the slump, but he also confirmed Reed will stay in the starting role as the Aggies look for a cleaner response on both sides of the ball.
Arkansas arrives with a bit of momentum after beating Tulsa following two straight losses, a result that at least gave the Razorbacks something to build on. KJ Jackson and Chris Marshall both turned in strong individual performances in that win, and now Arkansas gets a chance to see whether that spark can carry over against a team that is suddenly searching for answers.
