Morgan Price Stuns With First Perfect 10 as Gymbacks Tie Wildcats

Senior Morgan Price makes history with a perfect 10 on vault, leading Arkansas to a record-tying meet against Kentucky.

After 8,442 days and 24 seasons, Arkansas gymnastics finally witnessed perfection as senior Morgan Price achieved the program's first-ever perfect 10 on vault. This historic moment occurred during the No.

7 Gymbacks' 197.125-197.125 tie against No. 24 Kentucky on Friday.

Price's flawless vault wasn't her first brush with perfection; she previously scored a 10 on bars last season at Fisk University. Her accomplishments mark the first perfect 10 in HBCU history and for the Gymbacks.

Morgan's stellar performance earned her the vault title and an all-around score of 39.575. Arkansas claimed five titles that night: Joscelyn Roberson secured the beam crown with her sixth 9.950 in eight meets, and Roberson and Lauren Williams tied for the floor title with matching 9.950 scores.

Despite the draw, Arkansas outperformed Kentucky on vault and floor, and matched them on beam. The Gymbacks' 49.600 on floor was a season high, tying for the fourth-best in program history.
