Micah Gamble Stuns Arkansas with Visit and Scholarship Offer

Meet the versatile 2027 prospect, Micah Gamble, who's catching attention both on and off the field after a promising visit to Arkansas.

FAYETTEVILLE- The Arkansas Razorbacks recently hosted a promising young talent, Class of 2027 running back Micah Gamble from Fordyce, who enjoyed a “great visit” on January 31. Gamble is already making waves with his impressive high school stats and is eager to return to Fayetteville soon.

Standing at 5-foot-10 and weighing 180 pounds, Gamble received a scholarship offer from Arkansas on December 29. This offer adds to an already impressive list that includes Minnesota, Arkansas State, Appalachian State, and North Texas.

During his junior year, Gamble showcased his skills with 176 carries, racking up 1,435 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also made his presence felt in the passing game with three receiving touchdowns.

On the defensive side, he contributed with 47 tackles and an interception. While 247Sports has rated him as a 3-star recruit, other major recruiting services have yet to weigh in.

Arkansas running back coach David Johnson is known for his ability to develop players, which could be a significant draw for Gamble.

In a lighter moment, Gamble shared an embarrassing football memory from ninth grade when he tripped before scoring a touchdown. He also reflected on how football teaches discipline, not just on the field but in life.

If he weren't pursuing football, Gamble expressed an interest in excelling at volleyball, if it were available in Arkansas. When boredom strikes, he enjoys playing video games.

Gamble shared some personal tidbits: he’d love the superpower of invisibility, finds smacking while eating annoying, and treasures the family tradition of dining out on Sundays after church. He’s adventurous with food, having tried pig feet, and prefers spicy flavors. When it comes to weather, he favors a cool 32 degrees over a scorching 100.

His favorite animal is the tiger, and he cherishes childhood memories of hanging out with his cousins. A fear of not achieving his dreams drives him, and he believes the universe is too vast to be devoid of other intelligent life. He credits his family for having a significant impact on his life, emphasizing that each member plays a crucial role.

Micah Gamble is clearly a young athlete with both talent and character, making him one to watch as his recruitment journey unfolds.
