In a thrilling showdown, the No. 8 Arkansas Gymbacks put up a valiant effort but ultimately fell short against the No. 2 LSU Tigers, who delivered a standout performance on their Senior Night, winning 198.075-197.100.
As the regular season wraps up, Arkansas finishes with a 5-7-1 record, including a 2-5-1 mark in the SEC. Despite the loss, the Gymbacks showcased their talent with four top-three finishes.
Morgan Price dazzled on vault, tying for second with a stellar 9.950. On bars, Hailey Klein and Allison Cucci both impressed with 9.850s, tying for third.
Joscelyn Roberson shone on beam, scoring a career-high 9.975, which also matched the program's individual beam record, last achieved by Priscilla Park in 2024.
Bars
The Gymbacks kicked off the bars rotation with Joscelyn Roberson scoring a solid 9.800. Hailey Klein kept the momentum going with a 9.850.
Leah Smith contributed a 9.825, while freshman Allison Cucci nailed a 9.850 with her first stick of the night. Despite some challenges, with Avery King scoring 9.475 and Morgan Price 9.175, the team posted a total of 48.800.
Vault
Cami Weaver and Leah Smith set a strong tone on vault with scores of 9.850 and 9.825, respectively. Cucci delivered a standout performance with a stuck Yurchenko 1.5, earning a 9.925.
Lauren Williams and Klein added 9.825 and 9.775. Morgan Price, bouncing back from the bars, anchored with a powerful 9.950, bringing the vault total to 49.375.
Floor
Hailey Klein led off the floor with a 9.825, followed by Weaver’s 9.775. Cucci’s routine, filled with flair, scored a 9.900, matched by Smith. Williams added another 9.900, setting the stage for Roberson, who closed the rotation with yet another 9.900, bringing the floor total to an impressive 49.425.
Beam
Priscilla Park opened the beam rotation with a strong 9.875. Madison Gustitus followed with a 9.850, and Klein added a 9.900.
Weaver matched with another 9.900. Cucci scored 9.850, leading to Roberson’s standout 9.975, which capped off a 49.500 event score for the Gymbacks.
