Cami Weaver Stuns With Major SEC Community Service Honor

Celebrated for her outstanding community service efforts, Cami Weaver balances academic rigor, athletic excellence, and impactful volunteerism, earning a spot on the SEC Gymnastics Community Service Team.

Cami Weaver is making waves both in and out of the gym, earning a well-deserved spot on the SEC Gymnastics Community Service Team. Announced Thursday, this honor highlights her dedication to the Northwest Arkansas community and her impactful work as a fifth-year Gymback.

As the gymnastics team’s Community Engagement Liaison for Arkansas’ Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Cami has been a powerhouse of service. This year alone, she’s volunteered with five organizations, including 7 Hills Homeless Shelter, The Boys and Girls Club, and the Veteran’s Hospital. Her commitment doesn’t stop there; she’s been instrumental in organizing key events like Shop with the Razorbacks, the Friendsgiving Donation Drive, Salute to Veterans, and Book Hogs.

Cami and her teammates are also active in the RazorVets program, a biweekly initiative designed to get local veterans moving and engaged.

Balancing her community service with academic excellence, Cami is currently pursuing a master’s degree in operations management and is a four-time SEC Academic Honor Roll nominee. Her dedication extends to the gym, where she’s been a consistent competitor for the Gymbacks. This season, she’s showcased her versatility by competing on vault, beam, and floor, achieving scores of 9.850+.

The Razorbacks are set to kick off their postseason journey at the SEC Championships in Tulsa, Okla., on Saturday, March 21. Arkansas enters the competition seeded sixth and will compete in the first session at 2 p.m. Fans can catch all the action live on SEC Network, with live scoring available through Virtius.
