Arkansas football will have a small but noticeable tweak to its uniforms in 2026, and it comes on the heels of the program’s new jersey sponsorship deal with Tyson Foods.
The Razorbacks will wear the Tyson Foods logo on the right shoulder, but the placement is changing from what was shown in the March promo shoot. Back then, the Tyson patch sat just above the SEC logo on the right shoulder.
For 2026, the Tyson logo stands alone on that side, while the SEC logo has moved to the collar and taken the place of the small Razorback logo. The Nike swoosh stays put on the left shoulder.
It’s a subtle adjustment, the kind most fans probably wouldn’t catch right away if not for the new Tyson patch. The collar logo itself is part of the modernized “D-Mac era” look, which only added that small Razorback mark above the “ARKANSAS” wordmark in 2024. Before that, the collar was blank.
Arkansas brought back the red “D-Mac era” jerseys in 2019 and wore them for every home game that season. The white version followed in 2020, and this year will mark the sixth season the Razorbacks have used the full set of those modernized uniforms.
Uniform creativity may eventually become part of the conversation under new head coach Ryan Silverfield, but not right away. When HawgSports spoke with him in May during an appearance in Little Rock, Silverfield was asked about the possibility of adding some of the variety Memphis had during his time there. The Tigers had 456 unique possible combinations of helmets, jerseys and pants in the new College Football 27 video game.
Silverfield didn’t shut the door on the idea, but he made it clear his first Arkansas team will keep things simple.
"I think year one we're gonna stick with the traditional things," Silverfield said. "We'll see as the years go on.
I don't want to say never. I'm a traditionalist.
Listen, we'll see what happens over the years. I always like to be creative.
If it gives us an advantage, maybe with players and recruiting, and if it's something that makes a difference maybe we'll look at that. But year one we're going to stick with the basics."
Arkansas opens the season Sept. 5 at home against North Alabama in Fayetteville. Before that, the Razorbacks will head to Tampa for SEC Media Days, where Arkansas is set to go Thursday, July 23, the final day of the event. Silverfield is bringing three seniors with him: running back Sutton Smith, center Caden Kitler and edge Quincy Rhodes Jr.
