Arkansas fans made their frustration plain long before the final score ever settled in.

The reality is that Arkansas is unlikely to move on from Silverfield after just one season, though that does not mean he’s guaranteed to finish all five years of the $33.5 million deal he signed.
For now, the bigger concern is the run of losses. After a second straight blowout, Arkansas’ SEC losing streak has reached 12 games, and the fan base is left waiting for some sign the slide will stop.
The schedule doesn’t exactly offer a breather. Arkansas faces Tulsa in Week 4 to wrap up non-conference play, then gets back-to-back ranked opponents in Texas A&M and Tennessee.
