The Cowboys’ 2026 preseason will be easy to track: all three games are on CBS, and two of them will also air nationally on NFL Network.
Dallas opens the exhibition slate on Saturday, Aug. 15 at Seattle, then heads to Arizona on Saturday, Aug. 22 before closing preseason play at home against the Saints on Friday, Aug. 28.
All three games kick off at 8 p.m. ET except the Cardinals matchup, which is set for 10 p.m.
ET.

The preseason comes as Dallas tries to sort through a roster that looks familiar on offense but much different on defense. Christian Parker is in charge of that side of the ball now, and the Cowboys added several notable pieces this offseason, including former Ohio State safety Caleb Downs in the first round and ex-Packers edge rusher Rashan Gary.
On offense, the Cowboys are bringing back the core of a unit that ranked seventh in scoring in 2025. Dak Prescott is still under center, Javonte Williams returned on a short deal, and CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens are both back under contract. Pickens, though, will play on the franchise tag.
Dallas finished 7-9-1 last season and ended up second in the NFC East. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer and owner/general manager Jerry Jones will be hoping for a better result in 2026.
The Cowboys’ 2026 regular-season slate also includes a high-profile start, with a Week 1 trip to the Giants on Sunday, Sept. 13 on Sunday Night Football. Dallas then hosts Washington, plays at Baltimore in Brazil, visits Houston, and gets a Thursday night home game against Tampa Bay in Week 5.
Later in the year, the Cowboys visit Green Bay on Sunday Night Football, go to Philadelphia on Monday Night Football, host Arizona, Indianapolis, San Francisco, Tennessee, and Philadelphia on Thanksgiving, then return to the road for a Monday night matchup at Seattle. After a bye in Week 14, Dallas finishes with games at the Rams, at home against the Jaguars on Sunday Night Football, and at Washington in Week 18.
