Marvin Harrison Jr. was once viewed as the kind of receiver prospect teams dream about landing: the sure thing, the no-brainer star coming out of Ohio State. If Arizona does eventually move on from the former No. 4 overall pick, a few teams stand out as possible landing spots to help unlock what made him such a coveted prospect in the first place.
Houston makes plenty of sense at the top of the list. Harrison was CJ Stroud’s top target in Stroud’s final season at Ohio State, so a reunion in Houston would come with built-in familiarity.
The Texans also need the help. Nico Collins missed Week 2 with a hamstring injury and could be out longer, Tank Dell has been working back from the knee injury he suffered in the 2024 season, and Jayden Higgins is out for the year with an ACL injury.
With the receiver room taking hit after hit, Harrison would give Houston a much-needed boost alongside his old college quarterback.
The Raiders also belong in the mix. Las Vegas has been outplaying expectations early in 2026, and the receiver group has held up better than anyone might have guessed.
Through two games, Tre Tucker, Jack Bech, and Cody White have all caught touchdown passes, and they’ve done it while Brock Bowers has yet to impact the lineup. Still, that’s not exactly the kind of receiver corps you build around long term.
The appeal here is obvious: the Raiders are in a spot where they can take a swing on a high-risk, high-reward talent, especially with Klint Kubiak calling the offense and a franchise quarterback in waiting who would love a true go-to option like Harrison.
Then there’s Indianapolis, a destination that carries its own strange kind of poetry. Marvin Harrison Jr.’s father became a franchise legend with the Colts, and the idea of the son ending up there would be hard to ignore.
The Colts also have a need. Alec Pierce was injured in a Week 2 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, and Indianapolis is going to need more than Keenan Allen to get by at wide receiver this season.
Shane Steichen has already shown that his offense can help its playmakers thrive, which makes the fit even more interesting if the Colts ever decide to chase the legacy angle as well as the talent.
