Cardinals Reveal Game Day Decision on Bam Knight Ahead of Bucs Clash

Despite a week of limited practices, all signs point to Bam Knight suiting up for the Cardinals crucial Week 13 matchup.

Cardinals RB Bam Knight Expected to Suit Up vs. Buccaneers Despite Knee Injury

As the Arizona Cardinals head into their Week 13 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, all eyes are on the final injury report-and one name that stands out is running back Bam Knight. Listed with a knee injury, Knight has been a limited participant in practice throughout the week. But despite the designation, he's expected to be active when the Cardinals take the field Sunday at Raymond James Stadium.

Knight hasn’t missed any games this season, but he’s clearly been dealing with some wear and tear. Last week against Jacksonville, he was questionable with an ankle injury but still managed to suit up. His stat line-10 carries for just 12 yards-didn’t jump off the page, but he did find the end zone, showing that even when he’s not at 100%, he’s still a factor in the red zone.

This week, it’s a different issue-his knee-but the Cardinals haven’t held him out of practice entirely. He’s been limited, which often signals a team managing a player’s workload rather than holding him back due to severity. According to reports, including one from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Knight is expected to play.

For Arizona, that’s good news. While Knight isn’t the lead back, his ability to contribute in short-yardage and goal-line situations adds a layer of depth to the Cardinals’ offense-especially against a Bucs defense that can be stingy up front. If Knight is active and moving well, he gives the Cardinals another option to keep the chains moving and the pressure off quarterback Kyler Murray.

We’ll see how much of a role he plays, but for now, Knight looks ready to go.
