Gulls Are Turning Home Games Into A Bigger Event This Season

The San Diego Gulls are gearing up for a thrilling 2026-27 season with a packed promotional schedule that promises unforgettable theme nights, exclusive giveaways, and community-driven events.

The San Diego Gulls are packing the 2026-27 season with theme nights, giveaways and a full slate of community tie-ins, highlighted by 24 promotional and theme nights and nine giveaway items.

The season opens Saturday, Oct. 10 against the Henderson Silver Knights, and fans at the Home Opener will get a Gulls aloha shirt. That night also brings back the Orange Carpet, with players arriving and interacting with fans in the east lot of Pechanga Arena.

From there, the calendar fills up fast. The Gulls’ promotional lineup includes A Novel Night Out on Oct.

21, Faith and Family Night on Oct. 24, Halloween on Oct.

31, Dia de Muertos Celebration on Nov. 1, Military Appreciation Night on Nov.

11 & 21, Country Music Night on Nov. 20, Gulls Fight Cancer on Nov.

24, Disco Music Night on Dec. 4, Winter Wonderland & Teddy Bear Toss on Dec.

19, Pop Music Night on Jan. 8, Retro Rewind Night on Jan.

16, Women in Sports Night on Jan. 26, Yacht Rock Music Night on Jan.

29, Emo Night on Jan. 30, Star Wars Night on Feb.

13, Rinkside Rumble Wrestling Night on March 7, Reggae Music Night on March 12, Kid’s Club and Youth Sports Night on March 14, First Responders Night on March 19, Native American Heritage Night on March 20, Pride Night on April 4 and Fan Appreciation Night on April 10.

Several of those nights are tied directly to community recognition. The Gulls will use Gulls Fight Cancer on Nov. 24 to support cancer research and awareness, and the Dec.

19 Winter Wonderland & Teddy Bear Toss will send all collected plush toys to local non-profits. The team will also spotlight Educator Appreciation Night on Nov.

20, Healthcare Industry Night on Dec. 4 and First Responders Night on March 19.

Music will play a bigger role this season too. The Friday Night Concert Series, brought to you by Viejas Casino & Resort, returns with live music in the Pechanga Arena San Diego seating bowl.

It starts with Country Music Night on Nov. 22, then continues with Disco Music Night on Dec. 12, Pop Music Night on Jan.

8, Yacht Rock Music Night on Jan. 29 and Reggae Music Night on March 12.

The specialty jersey lineup will span six jerseys across seven nights: Dia de Muertos Celebration on Nov. 1, Military Appreciation Nights on Nov.

11 & 21, Retro Rewind Night on Jan. 16, Emo Night on Jan.

30, Star Wars Night on Feb. 13 and Native American Heritage Night on March 20.

The giveaway items are spread throughout the schedule as well. In addition to the aloha shirt at the opener, fans can get a Gulls soccer jersey on Nov. 1, a holiday sweater koozie mitt on Dec. 19, a reversible retro bucket hat on Jan. 16, a slouch beanie on Jan. 30, a championship belt cooler bag on March 7, Gulls trading cards on March 14 brought to you by Rady Children’s Health, a Native American hat brought to you by Viejas Casino & Resort on March 20 and a Gulls baseball jersey brought to you by Bill Howe Plumbing, Heating & Air on April 10. All giveaways are limited to the first 7,000 fans in attendance.

Fan Appreciation Night closes the promotional calendar on Saturday, April 10, continuing the team’s “Jersey Off Their Backs” tradition at the end of the game.

The Gulls are also lining up six themed pregame tailgates, each held two hours before puck drop on select nights in front of the box office on the north side of Pechanga Arena San Diego. Those tailgates will take place Nov.

1, Dec. 19, Jan.

16, March 7, March 20 and April 10, and each will feature food trucks, themed entertainment, photos with Gulliver and interactive games for fans of all ages.

Tickets for all home games are currently available through a Gulls Elite membership, with memberships starting at $531 per seat for the 2026-27 season, including taxes and fees. Members get perks such as free parking, flexible ticket exchanges, a dedicated Account Rep, access to exclusive events with players and coaches, Stella Artois Lounge access and more. Fans can also place deposits on partial-season ticket plans and group ticket experiences.

Mini plans go on sale tomorrow, Aug. 13, while individual tickets for regular season games will go on sale later this summer. The team says additional promotional nights and giveaways may still be added.
