The Ducks are putting Disneyland Resort front and center in a new way.
Anaheim announced that Disneyland Resort will serve as the club’s official helmet logo sponsor, extending a relationship that already shows up in familiar places around the team’s home market. The two sides have long linked up through game-day experiences at Honda Center and through Anaheim Ducks Day at Disney California Adventure Park and the Downtown Disney District, an annual event that brings in Ducks players, Wild Wing, hockey activities, fan experiences, specialty merchandise, and food and beverage offerings.
“Our partnership with Disneyland Resort celebrates our organization’s roots and the special bond we continue to share with Disney," said Aaron Teats, Anaheim Ducks Club President. “Featuring the Disneyland Resort logo on our helmets is a testament to our longstanding partnership and our shared commitment to making a positive impact throughout Orange County. We are honored to represent Disneyland Resort and our community with pride as we continue delivering exceptional experiences for our fans on and off the ice.”
The new helmets will make their first appearance during the 2026 Rookie Faceoff this weekend at Tech CU Arena and Sharks Ice in San Jose, California. Anaheim’s Rookie Camp roster includes 22 players, among them three first-round draft picks: Roger McQueen, selected 10th overall in 2025; Nikita Klepov, taken 15th overall in 2026; and Marcus Nordmark, chosen 28th overall in 2026.
Anaheim opens its two-game tournament against Colorado on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 1 p.m. PT at Tech CU Arena.
The Ducks then finish the event against Los Angeles on Sunday, Sept. 13 at 3 p.m. PT at Orange Rink at Sharks Ice.
Each game will be streamed live online for fans in each market, with Ducks games available at AnaheimDucks.com.
Disneyland Resort, based in Anaheim, features Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, three hotels, and the Downtown Disney District. Its hotels are Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, the Disneyland Hotel, and Pixar Place Hotel. Disneyland opened on July 17, 1955, and remains open daily, year-round.

Anaheim put veteran forward Chris Kreider on unconditional waivers for contract termination, a step that helps clear out a big contract as the club continues to sort through its salary cap picture and the next phase of its roster.
For the Ducks, the underlying story is less about Kreiders exit than the space it creates around Cutter Gauthier. Anaheim wants flexibility as it works through negotiations with its restricted free agent, and moves like this are usually a sign that the front office is trying to keep the path clear for a key piece of the future. The cap math matters, but so does the message it sends about how seriously the organization is treating Gauthiers place in the plan. [Read more 🡒]
