Tennessee Just Made Alabama's Misery Impossible To Ignore

Alabama fans have voiced their frustrations on The Paul Finebaum Show, targeting the coaching staff over a disappointing loss to Tennessee that marks a challenging streak for the Crimson Tide.

Alabama fans made themselves heard on The Paul Finebaum Show on Monday, and they didn’t waste a second getting after Kalen DeBoer, Ryan Grubb and Greg Byrne after the Crimson Tide’s loss to Tennessee.

The frustration came through loud and clear from the start. One caller, identified as Legend, went straight at DeBoer and unloaded in a stretch of criticism that set the tone for the rest of the segment.

“Coach [Kalen] DeBoer. Every time I let an Alabama fan talk me into trusting you, you lay an egg, dude!

Are you a chicken?” asked Legend.

“I thought you was a rooster. Come to find out, you just a 99 cent, three-piece chicken nugget meal from Mickey D’s… last week I called you Mr.

T, but you’re more like Mr. Magoo.”

Legend didn’t stop there, turning his attention to Grubb and the offense.

“Onto Ryan Grubb: why in the hell are you running 40-yard patterns down field when your offensive line can’t block a poodle with three legs?!” Legend rolled on.

“You ever heard of a little drop off to the tight end, a slant or a screen?! You’re running 40 yards a pattern, and your quarterback is running for his damn life!”

Then came Byrne, who got dragged into the same rant.

“Lastly, you thought you was gonna get out of the building, didn’t you Greg Byrne? Legend laughed.

“We have not climbed to the top of the food chain to be a damn vegetarian! I wish I was an octopus so I could slap all of you… right now!”

Handsome Joe followed with another furious call. He said he snapped the cigar he had bought to celebrate Alabama’s eventual “win” in half live on the show and said the Crimson Tide coaching staff “needs an exorcism” from “at least 50 priests.”

“We’re a laughingstock right now,” Handsome Joe said. “Have some pride, dangit… go out there and kick somebody’s freakin’ ass.”

Alabama has now lost three straight games in Knoxville after winning 15 in a row against Tennessee from 2007 to 2021, and Monday’s calls reflected just how raw the fan base still is.

Brandon Miller Just Reached A New Level For Alabama Basketball

Brandon Millers rise from Alabama standout to NBA centerpiece just hit another milestone, with the former Crimson Tide star set to enter his fourth season in Charlotte after a huge jump in stature with the Hornets. Drafted No. 2 overall in 2023, Miller has already established himself as one of the most prominent pro products in Alabama basketball history, and his production last season only strengthened that case as he finished north of 20 points per game.

Charlotte and Miller agreed to a contract extension before the start of the 2026-27 season, keeping the franchise tied to one of its youngest building blocks for the long haul. The deal also puts him in a unique spot in Alabama basketball lore, giving him the biggest NBA payday ever for a former Tide player and underscoring just how quickly his profile has climbed since leaving Tuscaloosa. Alabama Just Took Part In A Tennessee First Fans Will Hate

Tennessees crowd reached a level Neyland Stadium had never seen before in the Volunteers win over Alabama, with the atmosphere producing the highest scientifically verified crowd noise in college football history. The peak reading, 130.3 decibels, came late in the third quarter and was tied to a defensive play, adding another jolt to a place already known for being one of the sports most difficult road environments.

For Alabama, the kind of noise that usually gets remembered in rival territory just became part of the record book, and not in a way Tide fans will enjoy revisiting. The measurement topped the previous verified benchmark set at Penn State during Ohio States trip in 2007, giving Tennessee a new standard for home-field volume and a fresh bragging point in one of college footballs most heated matchups. Alabamas Playoff Path Suddenly Looks Fragile After Another Costly Loss

The playoff picture around Alabama has suddenly gone from sturdy to shaky after a 26-10 loss to Tennessee in Week 7. It was the programs first stretch of consecutive regular-season defeats since 2007, a jarring turn for a team that entered the fall with the usual national expectations and little margin for error.

Now the Tide are staring at a tough SEC runway that will tell the rest of the story, with Texas A&M, LSU, Vanderbilt, and Auburn still ahead. Several national outlets have already dropped Alabama from their College Football Playoff projections, and with more league games coming fast, the pressure is only going to rise from here.
