Kalib Spivey is making waves in the recruiting scene, with several official visits lined up that could shape his football future.
As a 2027 edge prospect from Alabama, Spivey might be flying under the radar with a three-star rating, but his offer list tells a different story. Programs like Miami, Florida State, Auburn, Clemson, and Duke are showing serious interest, treating him like a top-tier recruit.
Spivey has already scheduled official visits with Duke, Clemson, and Auburn. He'll be checking out Duke from May 29-31, heading to Clemson the weekend of June 12, and then visiting Auburn from June 19-21. Meanwhile, Florida State and Miami are in discussions to get him on campus for an official visit.
Clemson is the latest to extend an offer, and Spivey is thrilled. “It means a lot to me knowing they don’t offer a lot of kids and knowing that I can tell they really believe in me as a player and trust that I can come in and be a difference maker,” he shared.
Looking ahead, Spivey is aiming for a summer commitment, eyeing July as his target month, though he hasn't pinned down an exact date yet.
Standing at 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds, Spivey is a force on the field. His explosiveness and ability to close in on quarterbacks make him a standout edge defender, with the versatility to excel at the next level.
