According to DraftKings SportsBook, the Seminoles are a 15.5-point underdog for their Week 3 road matchup with the Crimson Tide, a number that underscores just how difficult the assignment will be in Tuscaloosa. Even if Florida State handles business in its first two games, it will still walk into one of the sport’s most punishing settings against a national title contender.
That’s a sharp contrast from what happened the last time these two teams met. Florida State stunned Alabama 31-17 to begin last season, taking the opener as a heavy underdog at home and launching the home-and-home series with a result that shook the country.
