Alabama’s pipeline to the NFL is as busy as ever.
When the 2026-27 season opens, the Crimson Tide will have 58 former players on active rosters, tying Ohio State for the most in the league. That total includes quarterback Jalen Hurts with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The season gets rolling Wednesday night with the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks facing the New England Patriots, and Alabama’s presence is spread all over the league. Philadelphia leads the way with six Tide alums, while a handful of teams carry multiple former Alabama standouts on their rosters.
The Eagles’ group is headlined by Hurts and also includes OLB Jihaad Campbell, WR Devonta Smith, OL Landon Dickerson, OL Tyler Steen and DL Byron Young.
Atlanta has five former Alabama players: QB Tua Tagovailoa, RB Brian Robinson, DB Demarcco Hellams, LB Christian Harris and DL Da'Shawn Hand.
Several other teams have three apiece. Baltimore’s trio is RB Derrick Henry, S Marlon Humphrey and TE Josh Cuevas.
Seattle lists QB Jalen Milroe, CB Josh Jobe and DL Jarran Reed. Dallas has DL Quinnen Williams, OL Tyler Booker and DL LT Overton.
Denver’s group is WR Jaylen Waddle, CB Pat Surtain II and LB Que Robinson. Cleveland features WR Jerry Jeudy, LB Justin Jefferson and OL Parker Brailsford.
The Chargers have DL Justin Eboigbe, P JK Scott and DL Dalvin Tomlinson.
A few more clubs have two each. Houston has DL Will Anderson Jr. and LB Henry To'oTo'o.
Minnesota includes LB Dallas Turner and K Will Reichard. Detroit is represented by WR Jameson Williams and RB Jahmyr Gibbs.
New England has DL Christian Barmore and TE Cameron Latu. Miami features OL Kadyn Proctor and LB Ronnie Harrison.
New Orleans has CB Kool-Aid McKinstry and LB Anfernee Jennings. Cincinnati carries S Jordan Battle and DL Jonathan Allen.
Carolina’s pair is QB Bryce Young and WR John Metchie. The Jets have S Minkah Fitzpatrick and S Malachi Moore.
Tennessee lists WR Calvin Ridley and OL JC Latham.
Then come the one-man entries: QB Mac Jones with the 49ers, S Xavier McKinney with the Packers, QB Ty Simpson with the Rams, DL A'Shawn Robinson with the Buccaneers, LB Mack Wilson with the Cardinals, DL Daron Payne with the Commanders, RB Najee Harris with the Giants, DL Tim Smith with the Colts and WR Germie Bernard with the Steelers.
There are also several Alabama names on league lists outside the active roster count. Josh Jacobs is on the Commissioner’s Exempt List with the Packers, Terrion Arnold is on the Commissioner’s Exempt List with the Seahawks, Phidarian Mathis is suspended with the Buffalo Bills, Robbie Ouzts is injured with the Seahawks and Brian Branch is on the PUP List with the Lions.
There are no Alabama players on the rosters for the Chicago Bears, Kansas City Chiefs, Las Vegas Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars or Buffalo Bills.
