Will Sanders: A Strong Contender for Left Guard
William Sanders, a redshirt sophomore, is recovering from an injury sustained in 2025 and hasn't participated in spring practice yet. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 315 pounds, Sanders has already played in 17 games as a reserve left guard for Alabama. His experience and strength make him a valuable asset, especially given his 148 snaps last season.
A former four-star recruit, Sanders brings both power and pass protection skills. Alabama's new offensive line coach, Adrian Klemm, is tasked with finding the right combination, and Sanders is definitely in the mix.
“You guys know that Will Sanders is not in there right now,” DeBoer commented after a recent scrimmage. “Obviously, he would be thrown into the mix with his experience and ability.”
