Alabama’s next home date with Georgia now has a kickoff time and TV slot.
The Crimson Tide will host the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. CT on ABC on Saturday, Oct. 10, at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
That matchup will come with plenty of recent baggage. Alabama was routed 28-7 by Georgia in the 2025-26 SEC Championship Game, one of its roughest outings of the season.
The Crimson Tide finished with -3 rushing yards in that game and was missing multiple key players. It also marked only the second time that season Alabama’s defense failed to force a turnover, with the other coming against Oklahoma.
The teams had already met once in 2025, when Alabama beat Georgia 24-21 in Athens.
The series history leans Alabama’s way. The Crimson Tide leads 45-27-4 overall, with the first meeting coming on Nov. 2, 1895, and the most recent on Dec.
6, 2025. Alabama is also 24-13-4 at home against Georgia and has won eight of the past overall meetings.
For now, though, Georgia is not the immediate focus in Tuscaloosa. No.
7 Alabama has turned its attention to Saturday’s road trip to face No. 16 Mississippi State, and Kalen DeBoer made that clear on Monday.
"We're going to get challenged here this next week against a very, very good Mississippi State team," DeBoer said during Monday's press conference. "Coach (Jeff) Lebby's done an awesome job bringing these guys together.
They're off to a great start. We're going to go into an environment we know that will challenge us.
And so, we've just got to continue to focus on our process, focus on us."

Alabama Heads Into Mississippi State With New Depth Concerns
Alabamas injury picture is starting to crowd the conversation heading into its trip to Mississippi State, with two more players added to a list the Crimson Tide has had to manage carefully. Will Sanders and Jayvin James both came out of the South Carolina game hurt, and while Sanders is expected to be available, James is now sitting in the questionable bucket as the Tide tries to sort out who will be ready to go.
The bigger concern may be the ripple effect on the middle of the defense. Linebackers Justin Hill and Desmond Umeozulu are already out, which leaves Alabama thinner than it would like at a spot that can be tested quickly in conference play. Alabama Heads Into Mississippi State With One Lingering Injury Concern
Alabama is getting closer to its trip to Mississippi State with a clearer picture of the injury situation along both lines, though not every answer is in yet. Kalen DeBoer said offensive lineman Jayvin James is questionable, while William Sanders is expected to be ready, which at least gives the Tide some needed depth as they head into another SEC road test.
